Coach Black Soho Signature Tote Bag

Look what I picked up last week on a shopping trip to Branson, MO. You would not believe the price I paid for this brand new Coach Signature Soho Black Tote Bag. I already have a brown one just like it with the matching wallet. I will have to find a wallet for this one. I will probably try to find it on Ebay.

I really like the fact that it will hold all of my stuff without feeling like I'm carrying a suitcase. The inside pockets make it easy to organize my stuff. I can put my Blackberry in one pocket and my keys in another.

You can get one just like it. For your own Black Coach Soho Bag

How To Spot A Fake Coach Handbag - Lesson 4

Packaging
This an area that can be an indicator when shopping at retail. The designer experience includes nice packaging, properly sized, tissues, and shopping bags. It helps complete the transaction to complete the transference of value to the consumer. This is more difficult to gage when purchasing on the Internet. However, even on Internet transactions most Coach bags and other designer bags will come with a high quality, thick flannel or cotton dust bag. Packaging is another area to watch when purchasing designer handbags like the Coach Hampton or Coach Soho bags.

How to spot a fake Coach Handbag - Lesson 3

Label
This is often the giveaway. You would think that someone who went to the trouble of procuring materials, stealing the design, and hiring the labor would at least take the time (or hire someone) to insure that all the labels and tags attached to the handbag had correctly spelled words. Also words should not be ran together. You know, likethis. Also, many times the label will be even more cheaply made than the rest of the bag. When it comes to labels and tags, poor quality, poor stitching, and poor spelling are all indicators that this Coach Handbag is a fake.

How to Spot A Fake Coach Handbag - Lesson 2

Materials
In this area the counterfeiters have gotten better. They are not using cheap PVC or vinyl to in their knockoffs. They are using leather and lambskin. However, you will still notice that the material in the fake is not as good as the material found in the real designer bags. Coach bags will not have any discoloration in the material at all and many fakes will have exactly that. Often times the material on the fake is stiff and uneven. Focus on the material. It should be good quality, durable yet flexible, with no discoloration.

How to spot a fake Coach Handbag - Lesson 1

Fakes are everywhere aren't they? I mean you can't go to a flea market, a roadside stand, a mom and pop store, and in many cases the Internet without running into fake or knockoff Coach Purses. Not just Coach, but all of the famous designer labels. I want to give you five areas you can focus on to help you avoid being duped, taken, or conned into buying a fake handbag. Now realize, these are only guidelines. The counterfeiters are getting better and better at what they do but you can protect yourself by observing some key areas.

Lesson 1
Stitching
Bad stitching on any "designer" handbag is a dead give away to not only an inferior product but to a much higher likelihood that you have encountered a counterfeit or a fake. Examine the stitching closely. Is it consistent throughout the bag? Is the underside or inside stitching much poorer than the rest? If the answer to either of these questions is yes, then steer clear of that item. Designer bags, like Coach, are more expensive because they are more complex in their structure. Examples of this might be double and triple stitching and multiple layers of fabric.
